② LED chip
The luminous body of LED is a chip, and the prices of different chips vary greatly. Commonly seen on the market today are chips from Japan and the United States, as well as LED chips from local manufacturers in Taiwan and China. Since chips from Japan and the United States are more expensive, their prices are naturally higher than LED chips from Taiwan and Mainland China, so the prices of their lamps are higher. As for how to determine which type of LED chip is used, only the manufacturer truthfully informs or observes or tests its light-emitting tubes.
③Brightness
LED lamps have different brightness and different prices. However, the brightness of the lamp is still determined by the quality and power of the tube core. In terms of cost, the tube core has high luminous efficiency, more than 100 lumens per watt, and the price of the tube core with power greater than 3 watts is obviously higher than other performance specifications.
④ Chip size
The size of the chip is expressed in terms of side length. The quality of large chip LEDs is better than that of small chips. A large chip means that the die base is large, has good heat dissipation effect, can withstand large power, and can provide large luminous flux. The price is directly proportional to the chip size.
⑤ Leakage current
LED is a light-emitting diode. The diode has unidirectional conductivity, but there is also a reverse current, which is called leakage. LEDs with large leakage current consume large tubes, so their lifespan is short and the price is naturally low.
⑥ Antistatic ability
The antistatic capability is the reverse voltage tolerance of the diode. If the anti-static ability is poor, the luminous tube will be easily broken down and damaged. LED light-emitting tubes with strong anti-static ability have long lifespan and stable quality of lamps, so the price is high. Generally, LEDs with an antistatic rating greater than 700v can be used in LED lighting.
⑦ Lifespan
The key to the quality of lamps is life. The indicator of measuring life is the percentage of light decay to the initial brightness, not the time it is off. Generally, the greater the working current, the faster the light decays and the shorter the life span. Of course, the longer the life, the higher the price.
⑧ Lighting angle
LEDs with different uses have different light-emitting angles. Special lighting angle, higher price. Such as full diffusion angle, the price is higher.
⑨ Colloid
The colloid of ordinary LED lamps is generally epoxy resin. LEDs with anti-ultraviolet and fire retardants are more expensive. High-quality outdoor LED lamps, which should be anti-ultraviolet and fireproof, are not cheap.
