Smart Street Lighting System

Due to their ability to reflect the city's image, street lighting are becoming more and more valuable as urbanization picks up speed. How to reduce energy consumption, increase the pace at which street lamps use energy, and achieve intelligent control of street lamps has become a pressing issue in the street lighting system (using a community road street lamp system as an example).

Features
01/

LoRa MESH: The coverage of the entire MESH network is greatly enhanced by using advanced LoRa modulation.

02/

Ultra-large network capacity: Up to 65,535 networks can theoretically exist.

03/

Decentralization: Only two types of nodes, terminal and routing nodes, make up the entire network, and no coordinator or central node is needed to participate in network management.

04/

Automatic routing: Each routing node can automatically establish a connection with the surrounding nodes when it receives a data request, eliminating the need for a coordinator to assist in path planning.

05/

Network self-healing: After many tries at communication, the routing node re-establishes a fresh path in the event of a connection failure.

06/

Additional features include encrypted communication, multiple verification, avoidance mechanisms, multi-level routing, path optimization, and remote configuration.

do you have any question? How can street lights be intelligently controlled and what features are needed?

product-1-1

First, we need a street light with a 5-pin or 7-pin NEMA socket or Zhaga socket. We must install a Zigbee or Lora single street light controller on the NEMA or Zhaga socket.

The cutting surfaces on a vertical end mill bit (are for milling ) are on its sides , designed for cutting horizontally , a drill bit ( are for drilling ) cutting surface is at its tip , designed for cutting vertically downward .. you'll notice a end mill usually has a flat on the end of the bit .

Second, we must install a gateway in the desired location with these connections. The gateway needs to have a GPRS/3G/4G/WIFI/Ethernet connection.

Finally, you should gain network access to the entire street light system, which will allow you to monitor and control lighting performance automatically or manually.

After completing these steps, you can change the settings on the platform, and then the gateway sends a signal to the Zigbee or Lora single-light controller, and the street light receives the signal from the single-light controller to perform actions (dimming, on/off, etc.).

People also ask

Q: What is LoRa MESH?

A: LoRa MESH is a self-organizing network communication protocol based on LoRa technology. It utilizes LoRa wireless communication technology to form a self-organizing network with multiple devices, creating a mesh topology to achieve interconnection between devices. It combines the advantages of LoRa technology with the characteristics of Mesh self-organizing networks.

Q: What is Self-Organizing Network Features?

A: LoRa MESH networks have self-organizing features, automatically building and maintaining networks. When devices join or leave the network, the network automatically adjusts its topology to ensure the stability of data transmission. This self-organizing feature provides LoRa MESH networks with high flexibility and scalability.

Q: Which functions can be achieved by smart street lighting control?

A: Smart street lighting system makes turning on and off the street lights as per customers' requirement. We can turn on or off the street light when it's necessary. For example:

According to the season, automatically switch lamps and lanterns

In special weather, turn on the lights in advance

According to the ambient illuminance, automatically switch on/off lamps and lanterns

Q: Do I need to replace the existing street lighting facilities?

A:  Most intelligent control systems are compatible with existing street lighting facilities and do not require large-scale replacement. The installation of intelligent control systems is usually modified and upgraded on the original basis to achieve remote intelligent control.

Q:  What benefits does the outdoor smart control system bring to urban management?

A:  Intelligent control systems can improve the energy efficiency of street lights, reduce maintenance costs, and can achieve centralized management and monitoring, providing more data support to urban management departments and helping them optimize urban lighting layout and energy conservation and emission reduction work.

Q: Is the smart control system applicable to different types of street lights?

A:   Intelligent control systems can usually be applied to various types of street lights, including traditional high-pressure sodium lamps, LED street lights, etc. The system will perform corresponding regulation and management according to different types of street lights.
